SPEEDWALL

Modern ski designs and today’s race courses involve spending more time on the sidewalls and edges. Völkl engineers siezed an opportunity to make faster skis we view the sidewalls not just as lateral boundaries, but a continuation of the surface in contact with the snow. Speedwall sidewall material is made out of a proprietary composite sintered base material, so Speedwall sidewalls can be waxed, just like the bases. In racing, that means less friction and more speed!
