Tecnica’s C.A.S (Custom Adaptive Shape) shell and liner are designed to be tweaked by a skilled bootfitter to give you the ultimate in performance and comfort. The C.A.S. Liner utilizes cork that surrounds the foot that can be heated, punched or grinded down for small fit issues. The C.A.S. Shell has small dimples in strategic places that give you an accurate atomically correct shape, and those dimples give a bootfitter the chance to heat the boot faster, and the shell can hold shape after it has been pressed for a better performance. Tecnica Mach 1 110 LV Ski Boot has created a new category of high-performance and great fitting boots for men and is the top of the line men’s specific boot in the Mach 1 Series.

The C.A.S. Shell along the ski boot provides a truly accurate anatomical shape. It has customizable features, and holds a custom shape more accurately. It also offers easier and faster heating throughout the boot.

C.A.S. SHELL CUSTOMIZATION

C.A.S. Shell Customization happens in two parts: Punching and Grinding. Punching (increase material)- polyether material can be heated and punched in problem fit areas. Grinding (increase volume)- the shell can be grindabled in problem fit areas.
